I recognise that true wellness extends beyond the physical; it encompasses mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being as well. By integrating these elements alongside you, I’ll aim to support you with a personalised path to long-term health.

Larissa Fletcher

BHSc Naturopathy

I’m a degree qualified clinical naturopath who works part time in the people and culture field.

I found Naturopathy after experiencing chronic illness in my late 20s and not being able to find answers or sustainable treatment solutions.

With the guidance of my naturopath, I learned a better way to nurture my health holistically.

Eleven years later and a Bachelor of Health Science under my wing, I’m here to listen to you, without judgement, and help you gain answers and control over why you don’t feel like you know you should. I understand that a corporate career often means long hours, high stress, and a neglect of personal well-being but it doesn’t have to be this way if you weave in new habits progressively - small changes can lead to lasting improvements in your health.

Together, we can embrace a more balanced approach to health.

The Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) is a four year full-time degree that encompasses studies in social and biological sciences, nutrition, dietary planning, lifestyle education, botany and herbal medicine.

Principles of Naturopathy

The naturopathic principles are the foundation of my practice, guiding every consultation and treatment plan. They shape my approach to uncovering root causes and supporting your health with safe, effective care.

First, do no harm (primum non nocere)

Choosing the most gentle and non-invasive therapy to achieve a result for each individual.

Treat the cause (tolle causam)

Symptoms are important clues, but the underlying causes are key to healing.

Doctor as teacher (docere)

Education helps us understand why our health may not be optimal and how our choices can have a big impact.

The healing power of nature (vis medicatrix naturae)

Supporting your body to heal itself.

Treat the whole person (tolle totum)

The whole is the greater sum of all parts. We are made up of many body systems that are woven together and respond when supported together.

Prevention (preventare)

Promoting healthy choices, assessing risk and implementing appropriate therapeutic interventions can prevent illness.
